The teenage years can be the best days of your life. They can also be the most difficult.

Everyone’s experience is different and it can seem as though friendships, arguments at home, relationships, weight, drink, drugs, anxiety, exams are daily issues to have to deal with.

In other areas,  you can be having such a great time that you stop making good decisions and and need some guidance to get back on track and continue to enjoy life.

During any transitional point in our lives, it can be easy to lose sense of who we are, what we are worth and where we are heading.

The transition between childhood and adulthood is fuelled by hormone imbalances, mood swings, heartbreak and bewildering bodily changes. All of these make everyday problems all the more scary and taxing.

You might be feeling overwhelmed and under a lot of pressure, a youth coach can give you the chance to recognise and voice your worries. With a youth coach, you  can discover what is most important to you, what you really want to do and where you want to be.

There are many things a you may feel you need to know and achieve by the time you finish the school year, or achieve by the time you leave school.

You may be thinking “Everyone expects me to…” or “I should do this…” rather than “I want to…”. This stage of life can be a balancing act, you are learning who you are, as well as trying to make  your friends, family and teachers happy.

You deserve to become whoever you want to be. There is nothing wrong with needing a little help on the way.
